Heritage

Our Heritage grade flooring is one of our most appealing flooring choices. A varying mixture of heartwood and “blue stain” sapwood along with numerous tight knots and nail holes create a bold but casual statement. This choice is often used in cabins, vacation retreats, restaurants and pubs.

Heritage Select

Relaxed and unique, our Heritage Select grade flooring reveals the beautiful heart content combined with tighter knots, some nail holes and occasional blue sap stain to let the original beauty of the Antique Heart Pine come through. Heritage Select flooring is highly versatile and goes well in any home or cozy retreat.

Plainsawn

Plainsawn is our most popular solid flooring grade. The high heartwood content and interesting mixture of cathedral/flatsaw grain faces create the casual “plank look.” Natural heartwood color variations create a backdrop of assorted honey-amber tones that make any interior warm and inviting. Plainsawn represents the top grade of many Heart Pine suppliers.

Quartersawn

Classic Quartersawn is our most authentic grade. Early colonists appreciated the stability and durability of knotty high heartwood quartered cuts. Quartersawn fits well in both formal and less formal settings and is often considered our most versatile grade. Classic Quartersawn is the first choice of those replicating Colonial American architecture.

Perfection Quartersawn

Perfection Quartersawn represents the rarest 5% of our solid Antique Heart Pine Production. Its tight vertical grain, and its clear, pristine and high heartwood face create an atmosphere of elegance and formality. Perfection Quartersawn is often used in America's finest homes and is greatly prized for its unsurpassed stability, hardness and beauty.
